Start the road to Recovery

Have you decided to get help for your substance abuse? Are you tired of struggling with your drug or alcohol addiction?

We hear you, and we are so proud of you!

We know that there are many recovery options, and looking at all the treatment programs can feel overwhelming. Here’s how to find the professional support you need.

Finding the Right Rehab Center: Understanding Your Florida Addiction Treatment Options

When you first start looking into drug and alcohol rehab options, you might feel confused by all the terms and recommendations. What does intensive outpatient mean? What if you have certain mental health conditions? What recovery programs offer the greatest chance for success?

Let us break it all down for you- step by step.

Take your first step towards recovery.

Medical Detox

Recovering from moderate or severe substance use disorders often starts with medical detox. Your body must heal and flush itself from all the drug and alcohol toxins.

Detox consists of round-the-clock monitoring, supervision, and support. According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), it’s not considered formal addiction treatment. However, detox does provide acute stabilization and gives you an essential stepping stone into recovery.

You may experience withdrawal symptoms during detox. This is common when detoxing from opioids, alcohol, stimulants, and benzodiazepines.

Our trained providers can give you the reassurance and guidance you need. Once you no longer have drugs in your system, you will start feeling significantly better.

Inpatient/Residential Treatment

After completing detox, most of our clients transition into inpatient treatment. This level of care offers 24/7 structure and care. You will spend most of your days in groups and therapy and reside within our addiction treatment center.

Partial Hospitalization (PHP)

Partial hospitalization represents a step down from our inpatient rehab center. Clients in PHP still receive extensive treatment services. However, they live outside the facility and begin integrating life skills into the real world. During PHP, you start resuming normal tasks, like working, going to school, or taking care of family.

Intensive Outpatient/Outpatient Treatment

Outpatient treatment is the least-restrictive phase in our treatment facility. However, outpatient programs are essential for maintaining recovery and practicing what you’ve learned in the real world. You will still attend therapy and groups, and our staff will encourage you to continue using coping skills to manage triggers as they arise.

Aftercare

Aftercare is an important component of any drug or alcohol treatment. Aftercare options vary, but they may include:

  • staying connected to an alumni program

  • routinely attending recovery-oriented support groups

  • engaging in behavioral therapy

  • being mindful of triggers that may coincide with drug use

  • taking any psychiatric medication as prescribed

  • practicing healthy coping skills to manage stress

Sober Living

Many of our clients benefit from having a safe living environment after completing substance abuse treatment. Sober living allows you to live with recovery-oriented roommates in a structured setting. This option provides an excellent bridge until you’re ready to live alone or with family members.

What Sets Us Our Florida Drug Rehab Apart

With so many options available, how do you really narrow down your recovery center choices? Here’s how we stand out against the competition.

Customized Treatment Plans

No two people are identical, and no two treatment plans should be the same, either. We know that you have unique needs when it comes to your recovery. We want to collaborate with you on setting goals that accurately reflect those needs.

Evidence-Based Treatment Services

It’s not enough to go to rehab and hope things get better. Effective alcohol and drug treatment should be evidence-based. Our program offers numerous evidence-based options, including CBT, DBT, MRT, EMDR, and family therapy. Research shows these therapeutic models are beneficial for treating substance use and various mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, and trauma.

Emphasis on Wellness

Recovery isn’t just about stopping alcohol or drug use. That’s just part of the recovery process. Ideally, you want to restructure your life in a way that honors your self-esteem and improves your emotional well-being. Our treatment center prides itself on maintaining a holistic approach to treatment. We know that healthcare is multifaceted, and our program reflects that.

Support for Co-Occurring Disorders and Your Mental Health

Many people struggling with drug abuse also experience mental health issues. It’s common for both conditions to aggravate one another. Unfortunately, if a treatment center doesn’t consider your mental health, you risk relapsing on drugs or alcohol- or decompensating emotionally. That’s why our treatment integrates both.

Focus on Long-Term Recovery

Our rehab facility recognizes that treatment doesn’t end just when you complete our program. Treatment is lifelong; you need ongoing support and tools to look after yourself. That’s why we emphasize aftercare, sober living, and building your support system. We want to make sure you succeed in the real world!

Serene Florida Environment

Location can be so important when it comes to your treatment. Florida offers a tranquil, beautiful setting for your addiction recovery. Our facility is located right on the waterfront, and we are located just minutes away from downtown Fort Myers.
